More than a man

by FlowerThatDied   Mar 1, 2010

We're on the road,
In the dead of night,
Walking bare feet,
Under cold moonlight,
We're swimming in the lake,
Clothes clinging to our skin,
Blood pumping blue,
As we indulge in sin,
Drying by the bank,
And watching the stars,
You're touching my flesh,
And kissing my scars,
We're moving together,
Hushed with the leaves,
An awe around our bodies,
Like the moon believes,
We're pacing back slowly,
Never wanting to break,
This night calls to end,
As your hand starts to shake,
We stay a few more hours,
Walking hand in hand,
We'll talk and kiss until the sun breaks the sky,
And I will know you are more than a man.
