Lost At Sea

by bob   Mar 2, 2010

One day while filled with gloominess, when all hope was lost I thought
For me the end was very near, those darkest hours, what was it that I sought
What brought me back from the precipice, what saved me that fateful night
It was the memory of all the times your smile and laugh, had filled me with delight

And when the dark clouds around me finally parted, I was luckier than most
I had found a sheltered harbour, not that far from home, just up the coast
For without a tiller to steer my way, I was lost and drifting out to sea
You were the lifeboat that braved that storm, and came to rescue me
