Yesterday get's to be remembered.
Tomorrow get's to be longed for,
today is just neglected...
"Now" is the most painful,
I shy away from pain.
"When" get's the treasure chest called memory.
"When" get's to haunt today.
"Later" is lucky to be valued, treasured,
and often looked forward to as well.
"Later" get's to shy above today,
"Today" and "now" is often seen as fear and hell.
While tomorrow get's the privilege of only being seen as fear.
"Hell on earth is happening today"
"Today" takes many lives and causes the most grief.
"Today" can be viewed as tomorrow's thief.
This being the case, I can still forgive today.
"Why?"
I am today's friend
"Isn't today my murderer, the thief, the father of grief?"
I can accept that when the time comes,
"today" can take my life.
So then why today you ask?
I am today's friend,
because with "today" I taste success,
Not it's mother yesterday,
nor it's father tomorrow.
Today and now I make the changes,
Today and now I surpass life's bitter stages!
Today offers the sun and it's set.
Today is when my future partner is met.
Today is when my memories are born,
today is when I make them.
I have nothing in later,
and i only had in yesterday.
I don't enjoy the waver,
the past sets me to pay.
I cry from loved ones passed away,
not from loved ones passing.
Today I realized tears can fade,
and now is the time I grow stronger from loved ones,
here with me, or taken from me.
Never say later, don't burden today, always say now and
make today you close friend.
