Playing Games

by Some Random Human   Mar 2, 2010

It's like we're playing hide and seek,
only you don't look for me,
it's like we're playing hangman,
but I'm the stick figure and,
you're always guessing the wrong letters,
leave me hanging here forever,
now it seems like Solitaire,
'cause I know that you're not there,

You're just playing games with me,
you don't care, it's plain to see,
that I'm just here to pass your time,
you say cheers, like I'm a glass of wine,

The game of Chess is one I hate,
because you put me in checkmate,
but Checkers makes me fester,
you're the king and I'm the jester,
sometimes I feel just like a mime,
trapped inside, you know that I'm,
left here playing Solitaire,
'cause you never seem to care,

You're just playing games with me,
you don't care, it's plain to see,
that I'm just here to pass your time,
you say cheers, like I'm a glass of wine,

Sometimes this feels just like Clue,
I'm always chasing after you,
can't we play Sorry just one time,
'cause I'm too tired to climb,
up this ladder, fall down the chute,
but that don't matter to you,
so now I'm stuck with Solitaire,
drowning in my own despair,

You're just playing games with me,
you don't care, it's plain to see,
that I'm just here to pass your time,
you say cheers, like I'm a glass of wine,

You're just playing games with me,
you don't care, it's plain to see,
that I'm just here to pass your time,
you say cheers, like I'm a glass of wine,

It's like we're playing hide and seek,
only you don't look for me...
