Kissing a Flower

by Soulful Ensemble   Mar 4, 2010

I want to kiss
Your every lovely finger
And love you wholly
With a touch that lingers.
Say yes and I'll gently clutch
That soft hand of yours
Which opens like a flower
With each and every petal
Springing out with power.

The warmth from within
Spreads through my blood
Rouses my soul
And paints a smile on me.
I want you to see its real
And true
The thing I feel for you.

I watch as you spring
Like a flower when its born.
You reveal your pretty bud
It glistens in the sun.
I kiss your every petal
And treat you with soft care.
I caress your stem
Gently
And you blush every where.

I'm thinking of you
On every quiet night.
As I blow kisses at you
Which shine in the night.
