Winter Has Gone

Winter has gone,
and the days seem so long,
without you by my side.

The snow had been falling,
yet you had been crawling,
right out of my heart.
You've torn me apart.

My heart skips a beat,
through the struggle of heat,
cause I know you're not here.

With the days going by,
all of my dreams turn to lies,
knowing you'll never change.
We'll never be the same.

Summer has passed
and the memories still last,
yet you still aren't near.
Everyday I shed a tear.

Now a year has fled away,
and the sky still turns gray,
knowing you won't be coming home.
