Horizons

You may look at me with eyes askew
With tears parting lips heavy thoughts accrue,
a rasp in that throat and a hint of despair,
leaves stricken eyes sullen, lonely in the air -
And I will keep you in my shadow.

With this flash upon my bosom, I may photograph your pain,
and with this fire in my palms I shall cool with rain,
oh to be alive, might one contrive such a meaning -
over I shall pass with a delicate preening -
And I will part for you a light.

Might you seek a word to ease your notions
I fear that I may disappoint, troublesome are such emotions
that simple beings may likely tread,
tread aloft this ghostly presence with plumes that seem
to whisper to the wind -
I will wait for you ahead.

Wonderfully written. Your words depict emotion within themselves and the structure flows very smoothly. I particularly enjoyed this line:

With this flash upon my bosom,
    I may photograph your pain,
and with this fire in my palms
    I shall cool with rain

Great job i will read some more of your work.
