Which is worse?

I'm sitting here,
contemplating my current situation.
Wondering if it could be worse.
The only thing I could possibly think
Is if I really hated the guy that she is with.
If he treated her poorly and didn't love her.
Would that be worse?

Or is the current happenstance the less favorable?
I think it is.
I like him. I love her.
He's got her.

And the kicker?
While I know that without her, my life will be empty...
I know that with him, her's will be better than it would be
With me.
