Invisible

by Black Heart Still Beating   Mar 13, 2010

I sit on the floor.
Classrooms
Hallways
Lockers
School
It's topical
predictable.
Classes we hate
Hallways we wander
Lockers we share
Schools we want to desert

Laughter is loud from my vantage point.
Smiles genuine
People leave, only glancing my way.
I move my legs,
more out of habit than need
They'll all avoid me
They sit close, but do not talk
...Well not to me.
They don't notice as a smile
finds its place on my face.
They go about their life's
topical
predictable
they don't get that to me they're
invisible,
