Where I'll Be Found

by Some Random Human   Mar 17, 2010

Will you ever notice how I feel,
will you ever know that this is real,
and it's not just your sex appeal,
that leaves me standing still,
'cause you're all I ever dream about,
every time you leave I want to shout,
and even though you shut me out,
you're the only one, there is no doubt,

Now here I am, falling down,
wait a sec, so I can hit the ground,
my heart will shatter, what an awful sound,
but you know just where I'll be found,
you can find me in the obituary,
I waited for you at the mortuary,
but you never came, they had to bury,
me because I couldn't carry,
this pain,

Maybe one day we can meet again,
I don't know where, and I don't know when,
but I know that I'll still let you in,
'cause that's the only way I can begin,
to even dare pretend,
that I'm better, that I'm on the mend,
you know I never could face the end,
without the comfort of my best friend,

Now here I am, falling down,
wait a sec, so I can hit the ground,
my heart will shatter, what an awful sound,
but you know just where I'll be found,
you can find me in the obituary,
I waited for you at the mortuary,
but you never came, they had to bury,
me because I couldn't carry,
this pain,

Where'd you go, how'd you leave so fast,
I tried to catch up, but I'm stuck in last,
and here I am stuck in the past,
now I'm thinking of that song by VAST,
I looked into your eyes and saw a world,
that's not real because you're not my girl,
I can't believe the way this has unfurled,
all I wanted was to find my pearl,

Now here I am, falling down,
wait a sec, so I can hit the ground,
my heart will shatter, what an awful sound,
but you know just where I'll be found,
you can find me in the obituary,
I waited for you at the mortuary,
but you never came, they had to bury,
me because I couldn't carry,
this pain,

Now here I am, falling down,
wait a sec, so I can hit the ground,
my heart will shatter, what an awful sound,
but you know just where I'll be found...
