Guilty Mind

Bias Opinions,
Guilty after thoughts.
Words like incision,
Can end the life you fought.
Torment of lifeless remarks,
Even still we have to rise.
Why butcher a pure souls heart?
You need not to hear our cries.

...Such are the thoughts,
The thoughts of a guilty mind...

We try to stay strong.
We try not to let it pain.
We try to make it last long.
We try not to go insane.

...And such are the thoughts,
The thoughts of a guilty mind.
Once whole in this world,
Now crumble like shrines...

Fake or lifeless smiles,
I concur they speak no truth.
And in the mean while,
We put it on for most of youth.
Why did this start?
Are we really that shallow?
Since when is speaking from the heart...
worth less then the words that follow?

...Such are the thoughts,
The thoughts of a guilty mind...

We try to make it right.
We try not to let ourself down.
We try to shed some light.
We try not to show the frowns.

...And such are the thoughts,
The thoughts of a guilty mind.
One horrible disgrace,
One enigma of Lies...

Distraught thoughts,
Eagerly pleading to escape.
As our mind rots,
so do our messages arrive late.
This twisted world is Cold.
Yet we try to make it work.
Hope, this society stole.
In Dark crevices, my mind is hurt.

...And such are My Thoughts.
I am but a guilty mind.
Ignorance is bliss,
What use is hurt,
If pain we can not find?...
