Lying face down

by Kayla   Mar 21, 2010

Lying face down, I close me eyes.
My walls begin to hear me cry.
I feel unwanted in this place,
Just an insignificant speck that takes up space.

I wish I could fly far away
Like on a dandelion, be blown away
And fly to somewhere where pain does not exist,
Some abyss where no one is alone.

I truly hope there is a place of such solace.
There just has to be a better world than this,
Where no one has to feel neglected or depressed,
Only the feeling of being blessed.

Lying face down, eyes closed,
My walls begin to hear me pray
For a new home and a new life,
Only built of love.
