She feels alone, in a crowded room,
She feels like hope has been replaced by gloom,
Her smile makes her feel like a fake,
The words "i love you" seem like a mistake.
Tears develop in her eyes, after memories cross her mind,
She is trying her best to leave things behind.
She's fighting with herself, her emotions running wild,
It has been quite a while since she last smiled.
The shadows under her eyes, show the sleepless nights she's had,
Worrying over things and driving herself mad.
Scars can be seen, if you look a little bit closer.
Her emotions make her feel like she is on a roller-coaster.
She doesn't feel like herself and she doesn't know why,
All these little things make her start to cry,
She is broken and she has no idea what to do,
Can she get through this without you?
She's unsure of a lot of things, even getting through life,
What will she do when she gives up the knife?
Will it be a good thing like everybody expects it to be?
Or will it just turn out to end in misery?
