Finial Goodbye

by never let go of the falling angels   Mar 24, 2010

What if I told you Good bye
What if you never saw me again
What would you do?
What would you say?
What if I told you I want to die today
What would you do if I didn't wake again
What would you do?
What would you say?
Would your world end?
Or would you just move on
I lay to sleep for one more night
I tell you I love you
But no reply
What would you do if you never got to say it again
what would you do if you didn't hear me speak another word
What would you do if I didn't wake up in the morning to come
What would you do with my finial good bye
What is their to say?
What is their to do?
With my finial goodbye

Another great poem with a great question. I always wondered if my counterparts felt the same, but we are both trapped waiting for an answer. Yet I turn around and ask myself those questions, and I'm lost in contemplation. Where would I be? What would I do? I look at the world around me and see how others cope, and it leaves me more confused...

    thanks for another great read.
