The music thumps in my head,
The lights are dim but i can see,
The movement around in slow motion,
People all around me,

The strobe light flickers,
People drinking up,
The sound of laughter,
When too much is never enough,

Smoke fills the room,
Breathe in deep and slowly, close my eyes,
Dizzy head, i love the spin,
Breathe out with a sigh,

Get up and dance,
Wont you catch me if i fall?
Take another sip, don't spill it,
Oh, just drink it all,

And when i sit back down,
I think of you,
I bite my lip, so numb,
I dunno what to do,

I want a kiss,
I want to feel you touch me,
Hold me, love me,
You're all i want to see,

When the alcohol wears off,
And the laughter is all shown,
I remember why i started drinking,
Cause it's so much easier than being alone.
