Standing still under a starry sky,
Slowly revolving my mind and set,
Wondering if I could dare to try,
To always remember - never forget,

A grasped hand squeezes tightly,
Shivering emotion and raw feeling,
Her misunderstood dreams fade nightly,
Into one with intentions of stealing,

Hearts trade owners without fear,
A simple wish came true somehow,
Forever has never been so near,
All that's left - is here and now,

I look toward the farthest star,
She stares into the sunrise,
Impossibly our dreams lie afar,
