Memories

by Jad   Mar 28, 2010

A preceding thought comes.
Thoughts echo like a song hummed,
As memories come into place
To be forgotten and left in waste.

A moment in time paused,
Stands still as all else falls.
Repetitive feelings come to mind,
Coming forward in due time.

A picture brings forward words,
As memories cover time and deter
In past, present, and future;
Perfect but sometimes blurred

Quick figments of a image,
Nothing more then a lost scrimmage.
A memory so touching and sacred,
As on a forgotten road you tread.

    Someimes memories are all we have to keep us going.

    A picture brings forward words,
    As memories cover time and deter
    In past, present, and future;
    Perfect but sometimes blurred

    This was my favorite stanza. There are times when I want to remember something so badly. Yet it won't come to my mind. The memories seem to come at the most unexpected times.

    Good job
    Welcome to P.R.
    Take care

    Memories fade over time but not entirely. They come back perhaps triggered by a thought, an image, a word. Well done.
