Leaves

by Corryn Clay   Mar 30, 2010

Leaves crunch beneath my feet
as i enter the path into the woods
sitting down, muscles tensing
the grasp of cold pours into my body

gentle breeze, an angels cool breath
causes leaves to dance falling gracfully
it sways back and forth falling down
laying atop a colorful cllage

the yellows, reds oranges and browns
leaves cover the frost enhanced ground
the trees mys feel teh chill they have too
no leaves to keep them warm any more

my breath fogs the veiw
blowing the cold smoke across my sight
a shiver from teh the inside to out raged through
muscles more tence, skin rough like the bark

the sun shimmers down filtering through branches
filter, like coffee in a filter; dripping steaming
warm, hot, cold! the breeze comes back
a spring spurting my warmth to the outside.
