a curtain closed for the night,
tinted lips, taste of metal,
a corrupted soul,
forgotten all together,

darkened room,
bloody faces,
blaring music of misplacement,
shattered mirror,
shards of glass,
no one hears him as he slices his mask,

dripping crimson,
pouring pain,
drowning in memories of forgotten shame,
