Lonely Star

by Molly Beth Dundas   Apr 1, 2010

The Way We Need Gravity,
The Way We Need Comfort,
The Way He Turned It To Tragedy,
The Way He Treated Us Like Dirt.

That Feeling He Left Inside Us,
That Feeling Felt So Good,
That Feeling Is Behind Us Now,
That Feeling We Always Knew Would.

He Just Played Me And My Best Friend,
He Just Couldn't Stay,
He Just Couldn't Watch Till The End,
He Just Had To Walk Away.

Now We Went Our Difference Ways,
Now We Know Exactly Who We Are,
Now The Bar We Will Raise,
Now Your Left In The Sky Like A Lonely Star.
