A Hidden Hero version 2

by VeinsofHate   Apr 6, 2010

A fight for the glory
One must be cast a side
One must live in the shadows
One must always hide

Two twin brothers
I will tell you about him
The battle that he went through
And almost did not win

He was getting beat-up
Every single day
Cutting came into the picture
To take the pain away

Every day of getting hit
He was getting weaker more than strong
But nothing seemed to change
He had no choice but to go along

Finally once in high school
Trying to catch a break
But working 30 hours a week
A rest just couldn't shake

So one night just not caring
Wanted it all to end
He was about to drive in front of a car
All he needed was a true friend

But deciding to hold on
At least for one more day
He to stopped cutting
Realizing it didn't take the pain away

When he was forced to pay the bills
He couldn't bare the thought
He just howled at his parents
"Go to hell and rot!"

He decided to move out
Another teenager on the street
But his parents were still coming after him
He couldn't take this heat

But now he's found a family
That loves him like a son
This battle is slowly ending
And I would say he won

How he made it through this
Is a true mystery to me
He is stronger than ever
Ever that I could be
