The weather is really gorgeous today
It almost knows exactly how I feel
The sidewalk, the grass looks pretty normal
It's dark out though, and very gray
Like my heart today the sky hangs heavy
The clouds are prominent, the air is thick
Even though it's not quite raining yet
Like my tears, it could come at any second
The wind whips hair around my face
Like my brain whips thoughts around my mind
Will I ever talk to you again?
Do you even care?
I look to the ominous sky for my answer
And think I catch a glimpse of sun
But I look again, and see only clouds
Was the sun there, or did I create it?
As I look up the sky opens, wet on my face
And now, I have my answer.
