Hop Into My Chair

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 10, 2010

Welcome back sonny
won't you take a seat right here?
Don't worry about this bright light
though you may shed a tear.

I'll first start with scraping
and get off any plaque
no need to slump over
try to straighten out your back.

Let's now clean your teeth
what flavor would you enjoy?
Sit still and be good
then you'll receive a toy.

Do you floss daily?
if you don't you always must
be warned from this point on
that your teeth might someday rust.

Obey my command
open up nice and wide
try not to swallow
let me have a look inside.

It seems that Mr. Toothbrush
has not done a fine job
remember to keep food out
or your smile it will rob.

It's amazing how you shimmer
you have such a better bite
My duty is now done
but keep those pearls white.
