No blames or complains to make,
Not even for the road we walked until the sun had slept,
Or even about your friend that you left,
All I need is a smile you smiled when you sensed my steps!

No more tickles to excite,
No more pretext for a sensuous touch or hold your hand,
Not even a blurred compassion that I lost my love my dearest friend,
Or even when people intended you and I but for us we were us!
All I need is solitude to fantasize all that we could have done!

No more the child will fleet,
No more I will sit to watch you speak, share the world and the two of us,
Not even that stupid laughter that I laughed for your happiness,
Or even the sandwiches that I wanted to make!
All I need today is an answer why you still subsist in the breath I'm willing not to take!
