Sorrow like a villian with no name

by Marcus blake   Apr 17, 2010

With no remorse or petty indulgence
And just the like the wind does to dirt and sand
In one foul swoop
I lost you again
Its funny how sorrow finds ways to prey
On every bit of happiness in my heart
How it clings to my soul
And waits for my weakest emotion
So it can create the illusion
Of my darkest nightmares
My harbored and forgotten fears
A villain with no name
But long, long has it's presence been in the game
Of breaking peoples hearts
And making tears fall from the eyes of
The sweetest and most innocent
It's sorrow
There's no apology or thank you
Not even an explanation or reason
There's just sadness and pain...
Yep like a villain with no name
Sorrow breaks hearts
And never loses the game
