I've been trying,
for days on end,
to find one of my poems,
that will make me win,
I've been trying so hard,
to be number one,
i almost forgot,
that this is supposed to be FUN,
I'm supposed to learn from this,
not just try and win,
so what i say to you,
is i don't care if i win,
i want to be known,
for how good i am at writing,
not just for winning this little contest,
i want to be known,
AND i want to be #1
