Dare To Dream

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 28, 2010

Are you seriously going to make another cup of coffee?
Put the mug down- before you mind is numbed in addicting energy.
Edible boosters are not everlasting,
ponder on that before you find the nearest exit door from reality.

Have you ever walked out of your door in the early morning?
Witness a sunrise- skip that extra sleepy hour and it won't be regretted.
If trying something new,
means experiencing enlivened happiness, then go, break out in a run.

Why are you concealing your independent voice at all the wrong times?
Speak proudly for justice- you will not always be given such an opportunity.
Reveal your inner confidence,
someone across the world might just hear your beliefs and be inspired.

1) "No, life cannot be understood flat on a page. It has to be lived; a person has to get out of his head, has to fall in love, has to memorize poems, has to jump off bridges into rivers, has to stand in an empty desert and whisper sonnets under his breath... We get one story, you and I, and one story alone. God has established the elements, the setting and the climax and resolution. It would be a crime not to venture out, wouldn't it?" -Donald Miller

Ha ha MaryAnne..it is like I am seeing my own words here...you know that I go out the door every day at six to watch the sunrise as I jog, don't you?

In the early moring the world has a kind of magic and you get this feeling everything is possible.
I know some people sleep in every day , but cannot imagin ever living like that..maybe if I were to become very ill, but as it is now I am up with the birds!

I loved this, I so loved it for the love of life it conveys and the way it will inspire those who read it.

We are two peas in a pot, ha ha!

    God bless and a hug,

    5/5 Ingrid
