Long Time Coming

You've been working so hard
with an unclear prize in view.
Money, pleasure, pain, thrills
who knows what this day will bring.
But trust this day will bring upon
something. Something most glorious
and worth every second you've
spent trying to get here.

Some never make it to this point
and fall by the waste side.
But others, like you
rise from the ashes of discipline
and soar like a mighty phoenix
into the light of success.

I know you're proud of your
accomplishments but know
We are honored to share them
with you. Know that as you strive
to be your very best you are showing
us how to truly become self- actualized
and fight for our own dreams
as you have done these past few years.

Through this long time coming
from grasshopper to magnificent master
of your profession, know that you've
proven why God put life in your heart.
