Fuel (I'll Do It Anyway)

by Hallucinostic   May 1, 2010

No use in scheming,
To look for a bright and shiny sunny day,
When Sunday is gloomy,
There's no need to start my day with a plan,
But what the hell,
I'll do it anyway.

Start on a new song,
Got my guitar and go strumming all the way,
Seems like a new tune,
But feels like the same old song as yesterday,
But what the hell,
I'll do it anyway.

I've been here once before,
Nowhere, where nothing seems to be mine,
Do this and do that,
Should I? Would I? Wouldn't I be mad?
What the hell,
I'll do it anyway.

No need pretending,
When everyday truth keeps slapping in my face,
Still keep on dreaming,
Dreaming till all my dreams come down,
Tumbling down,
Down,
Down,
Down,
I'll do it anyway.

Time may fly,
Constant changes all around till I die,
I will try,
But I need somebody to help me.....

It's a terrible thing not to reach our destination,
But all the fuel we need is LOVE and APPRECIATION.

You have a lot of wisdom in your words, laced with strong emotions. I noticed in each there is more to the write then just words which makes for a gifted artist, rather it's a painter, song writer or poet. You bring a lot to each read for the enjoyment of all.
