I'm not fine.

by hayden   May 3, 2010

You see a body,
not perfect but
whole; you see
no damage. No
damage caused
by others hands.

You hear confidence
in its best form;
laughter and all its
warmth.

You don't hear my
compulsive lies
(I'm fine). Nor do
you look beyond my
dampened eyes. you
fail to see a soul. My
soul; a soul broken.
