Summer's winter story

by Marcus blake   May 4, 2010

Winter weather was never better
It dimmed the heat gaze of the sunned sky
I could finally open my eyes
Yet, all I could see was sadness
The tragedy of snowballs
That flew far across the street's
Never meant anything to me
Well the ice melted off my aunts tree
I thought of the summer breeze
The vision of heat took me
To a place I never knew
Summer days, yea it's true
Miskito's due bite
And if it's hot enough people will fight
The bee's due tend to sting
I saw a drop of water fall from a tree
The last snow flake was melting...
Ant's are having a field day outside
And the beetles are showing up for the surprise, after party
Butterflies swoosh though the air like gods
And moth's zip though the darkness of the night
Like monsters always going toward the light
The atmosphere is breaking
And people are dieing
Just a little a sooner
I guess Death becomes a little clearer
When we put it in perspective
The grass will always grow green
And that girl you hate will always be mean
There always gonna be a little person in me
For the rest of my life telling me to follow my dreams
But...
That's all some off topic, stuff
Back to the summer time winter snow, fluff
Yea, summer is the best cause schools out
But winter's cool cause we threw the bugs out
But either way when its summer I miss the snow
And when it's cold I some how feel at home
