Weakness in us

by Marcus blake   May 6, 2010

I find the time to write, and turn on this light
In this cold damp room
I am alone
Forsaken cause I'm not taken
Yet I never loose sight of the bacon
Prepared for me
I'm a tree giving air to all that needs it
But it is all I can do
I'm good for one thing in this life
While something inside is telling me
Try go ahead and try
Of course each time I deny
Disappointing my conscious
Clueless to the struggle
Prepared for dull moments
Of a life we live in despair
People call pain the worst in there life
Then whats tragedy
I wonder if emotion to some people is fake
Or if when you cry it's for real
Sometimes I think of synthetic people
And how they exist alongside
Fake and yet elude us
Cause I guess in us all
Is a little weakness
