Rose Hill (Lilibonelle)

by Daisy if you do   May 12, 2010

Rose Hill (Lilibonelle)

Faded silk remembrances
adorn the granite yard.
Imploring marble angels
steadfast, tending guard.

Adorn the granite yard
with memorials in stone.
Epitaphs lend account
to otherwise unknown.

Imploring marble angels,
keepers of one's grief.
Silent pleas to Heaven,
offering visual relief.

Steadfast, tending guard,
with no guarantee.
Death, in all its beauty,
watching over me.

Dear Friend.... absolutely lovely with a bit of darkness to boot. Loved it. A unique form to write, haven't run across this one as of yet, but seems like a good one to try myself. Good to see you back....
