The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
By Mark Spencer

If you should ever wonder where
The lost and lonely dwell.
It's out beyond the Rising Sun,
Beside Heartbreak Hotel.

There is a place where you can go,
Where all the drinks are free.
The boulevard of broken dreams,
That's where I'm gonna be.

If you take the Haunted Highway
Past the river of dreams.
You will reach a quiet crossroads,
Beside a silent stream.

You'll see the signpost up ahead,
And it will point you toward
The boulevard of broken dreams,
And your final reward.

There, you will find a sad cafe,
Where restless spirits go.
I'll be waiting there, with Elvis
And Marilyn Monroe.

We can share a drink with Boggie
Reminisce with James Dean,
Learn some moves from Michael Jackson,
Or talk with Steve McQueen.

You might sing a song with Lena
Or dance with Princess Grace.
The boulevard of broken dreams,
Our final resting place.
