Do You Believe In FairyTales?

by LadyLk   May 16, 2010

There is a girl, they call Lk,
Who's been a damsel in distress.
She was blinded by a warrior,
Who made her life a complete mess!

She was confined within a box,
Four walls closing in.
Not only locked, but chained as well.
She was pushed to commit sin.

She lied so she could get away,
For just a couple hours
She loved her warrior, she did indeed,
But with her, he was sour.

He took her for granted, didn't care how she felt,
He knew she loved him so.
He made her a baby, kept her locked down.
He tried to trap her soul.

The baby brought enormous joy,
To the pain and strife.
She thought, he can't give any better
Than the gift of a new life!

But everything went down from there,
He was no help at all!
He'd work and go out partying.
Left her home without a call!

As time went by, some things went well
But most of them got worse.
She started to think, it's all a lie,
That love was just a curse.

She was a girl who needed love
To fulfill her happiness.
A girl in need of affection,
And sometimes just a kiss

The thought of being cared for
Made her giddy beyond belief,
But he was the complete opposite
She was constantly deceived.

She had another baby
To fulfill her heart's abyss,
And it was no mistake
The second gave her complete bliss.

She knew she could do it all alone
With her girls by her side.
She needed no more warrior.
She no longer wants to cry.

She tried to leave but couldn't.
She didn't have the strength!
He made her feel like nothing.
She was emotionally bent.

She was letting go, of all hope
When a miracle came by.
Prince charming on a white horse
With a shield and sword, arrived!

She fell in love and so did he,
They were meant to be.
Prince Andre sent from heaven
To let his princess free.

He showed her life, he showed her love,
He proved to her, he cares.
Just like Aurora, Ariel, Belle
And Cinderella's tales.

He gave her the confidence and the strength
She had needed long ago.
And with that, left the warrior,
He had no more control.

She trusts her Prince with her whole life
Her girls included too.
The perfect man does exist,
And he came to my rescue.

I, was the damsel in distress,
Living my private hell.
My Prince saved me from obscurity,
In this story that I tell.

My Prince said "I'm a lucky man!"
Last night, and held me tight.
But I think I am the lucky one,
And won't let him out of sight.

It's rare to find a love so true
That there's no worries ahead.
Prince Andre, will you take my hand
My heart and my third kid?

Thank you for a very fun read. Although sad at times, it read like a dance in my mind. It indeed feel like a Fairy tale.
