Don't Forget Me

by Jad   May 17, 2010

Time will in evidently pass on,
As I will have to move.
Wishing that time would remain long,
You've gain something you'll lose.

Please, I beg of you now,
Even if I leave I'll come back,
And you may wonder how
Just remember to retrace the tracks.

I'll be there waiting for you.
Always in your mind and heart.
Never become lonely and subdued
To sadness and fall apart.

Remember the things I've done;
Recall and don't forget me.
Tied together under the setting sun,
We'll always be together. Can't you see?

So once more I'll say it.
I'll repeat it over again.
Through trials you may be tricked,
But don't forget my strength I'll always lend.

We never want the person we love and care for to forget us and we want them to know we will be there forever, even if it is only in memories. Well done.

Aaah, this will make me cry if I read it again. I can so relate. Not wanting someone to forget you, as many of us could probably say the same. Such a sad poem, and something I can definitely relate to as of late pretty well .
