Something About A Smile

by Meena Krish   May 21, 2010

A smile gently opens
the petals of your heart
its delightful shine
macerates your woes

The beauty of a smile
glitter like stars
and guides you into
hope's embrace

A smile brings in
waves of comfort
the breath of relief
which bathes your world

It's a beautiful sunset
that sedates the mind
where thoughts flower
of new beginnings

Wow, What a beautifully descriptive analogy of a smile , I really enjoyed this one .
I also liked how it showed the progression of a smiles cause & effect , reading like a little mini story . Very well written definately a 5/5

A smile is something that costs nothing to give but could feel like a million dollars to someone who is feeling a little down.

Very good word choice in this lovely verse.
