River

by PassionCourageTriumph   May 27, 2010

Trickling over rocks, seemingly carefree
Smooth and tranquil with bursts of energy
Crooning along, a broken tune it mends
Not harp, not flute, not one dares reprehend
The water surges, as the breeze chimes in
This symphony has a battle to win
A bird's soprano solo is conveyed
Portraying an image never to fade
Flawless vision of ev'ry earthly hue
The sky is full: Vibrant yellow and blue
Reach down and feel, the supple soft ground
The earth to which you are fleetingly bound
Inhale the pleasant intoxication
Let yourself sway without hesitation
