This is a really nice poem, although I would have written " on a canvas of melancholia", but that is just a minor detail.

Really nice wording and congrats on the win:)

    God bless,

    5/5 Ingrid

Your word pairings and phrasing are to be admired in the way they create such a feel for the poem. I believe that I totally understand how the dream felt, some of the imagery from it. The closing line is also very interesting--I looked up chimera and it seems that the modern usage is "an impossible or foolish fantasy, hard to believe." It fits right in with the rest of the poem, and overall, this is an excellent work deserving of the contest win. Great job!
