The Tameless

by Kaia   May 27, 2010

My family is a spontaneous fire,
Unable to be tamed for very long. Able
To burn everything to bits and pieces.
My mother is the flame, burning brightly, unstoppable.
Her heat incinerates all that is met. Her presents
Intimidates all.
My father is the gasoline that provokes.
He begs her to ignite. Makes her
Burn viciously.
Cassy, the spark that starts it all.
Just a tiny spark that makes everything catch fire,
Leaving me to go up in flames...
I am the burnt, and still burning... object that
No matter how hard to try will never go out
Until all that is left are ashes.
