Forbidden Feeling

A forbidden feeling she's finding it hard to ignore,
It's always his smile, she seems to adore.
It's eating her up, she can not deny,
The feeling she gets when he looks her in the eye.

No matter what, she knows it is wrong,
Why the hell does she feel this strong?
Maybe because she knows she won't get hurt,
She won't be led on and treated like dirt.

She still doesn't understand, why he makes her smile,
Why does he stay on her mind for quite awhile?
Why does she hold on, when she knows it can not be?
He wouldn't feel the same, why can't she see?

A forbidden feeling, that's driving her insane,
Does she only feel like this, so she doesn't get hurt again?
She has no idea why he is always on her mind,
But this is definitely a feeling she needs to leave behind.
