Her Goodbyes

by iFallToPieces   Jun 1, 2010

A dark hole.
sleeping desire,
If only she hadn't become,
Such an awful liar.

She's drowning in a pool,
Of memories and fears,
Not knowing how to change,
The way things have been for years.

She feels alone,
In a crowded room,
What's going on?
Why does she feel so much gloom?

Everything is closing in,
She doesn't know what to do,
If she's pushing everybody away,
Who can she turn to?

She can't explain how she feels,
She doesn't understand whats going on,
It's just that lately,
Everything is turning out wrong.

She knows what they say,
And it doesn't help at all,
She's sinking in the dark,
Why does she feel so small?

She's heard the rumors,
She's heard the lies,
She can't take it any more,
She's ready for her goodbyes.

I like how you open up the poem. I believe this poem is very personal to you(it could be because it's a self-relection of your life). I guess, sometime we need to open up ourselves to the love ones around us, so that they are aware of what's going on in our lives. Nicely written:)
