Life is a story book

Life is like a story book,
sometimes the pages turn easily
and sometimes the next one's hard to find,
every page bringing something new,
sometimes scary, sometimes good.

Sometimes life's an open book
and sometimes you lose your place
and you have to search for it,
sometimes you have to reread things
to make it all make sense.

Starting at the first page,
you never know how it will end,
will it end on a happy note
or will you end up with just tears
and what will you find in between?
