When I First Saw You

I'd noticed him before, but I was too nervous to say
anything.

Whenever I saw him, he always had a smile on his face.

The day that I finally talked to him is when things
started to fall into place.

My lines were cheesy but they made him laugh,

I was nervous, like taking a test I was sure I wouldn't
pass.

He had blue eyes that shined really bright,

I knew had to get to know him in the next few days.

Daring myself to make the first move,

How I felt so stupid yet somehow smooth.
