Warrior of Justice

by Poet on the Piano   Jun 2, 2010

Cherry blossoms
engrave their fragrance
on pale moonlit skin,
brushing aside
night-drawn hair
for gifts of scent.

Mountain wind
breathes perspective
in a moment's change,
no longer must
heartstrings refrain
who I really am.

Irreplaceable necklace
pools around my neck
displaying inner spirit,
where voice is cherished
inner beauty extolled
revelation of peace.

Moaning country
tugs at my thoughts
staying will not help,
I know the savage threat
but sacrifice is eminent
my people are my world.

Sanguine sun
dares me to run
I cannot hold back,
though courage is dim
I pray for healing
I can be victorious.

    The second stanza is amazing.

    'Mountain wind
    breathes perspective
    in a moment's change,
    no longer must
    heartstrings refrain
    who I really am.'

I loved how I could relate to this peice of art as I'm sure many others could as well.
    Fabulous write.
    You can be victorious.

    Hare Krishna.
