My Mistake

by Maegan Bravo   Jun 11, 2010

Well,
Tell me.
Are you glad
You pulled the lever?
Used that axe,
To sever our line?

I'm not fine.
I will not lie.
It is you that has made me cry.
If you were the bait,
You lied.

Don't accuse me
Of such allegations,
If you are the one,
At the end of the strings.
I always wondered,
Why the
"Puppet Master"
Never answered my pleas.
Now I know,
Twas not he

It was a she,
The blond,
The fake.
It seems that I
Have made a mistake.
You've proved me right,
In assuming the lies.

You're so filled with hatred,
And so you despise.
But do you ever stop to think,
That maybe it's you're the lie?
Not this love,
But the hatred you speak.

You're so weak.

This was only the beginning,
Was it not?
Too bad you've exposed your plot.

Here's mine:
I'm already dead.
You were a fool
To believe.

I'd say shame shame,
Shame on me.
But you are to blame.
I hold no shame.
