Shackle and Fetter

by Minkus   Jun 12, 2010

"Tired" is no excuse
except perhaps not to play the frivolous
the frivolous
the games that
are only played, and so played
but never won

No excuse not to
establish something and build
those things (these things) unstructured
where mistakes are nuances
and to lack mistakes
is a mistake, problem, sin, grievance
I don't want

I don't want to lose
that spark I imagine and picture and dream of and wish for
so frequently;
I don't want
to sacrifice insanity for hallucinated control
spiderwebs that catch no fly but
simply become tangled in my muse's hair

And all my little normalcies
are merely the muse's
shackle and fetter

^ that bit there was written really nicely. When i read good poems, i get this weird feeling in my body, its hard to explain, but when i read that, i felt it!

    all in all, 5/5
    lovely!
