Saying "i love you" in vain

Its a dilemma & im not sure what to do.
holding on to something that might never ever come true.

my head tells me to give up & move on to the next.
but my heart whispers to not give in & steady watchin on the rolex.

but how can i ? when time past by so slow.
debating & contemplating if i should let this feeling go.

im not waiting forever knowing im impatient.
but if you don't meet me half way
im going to need a new replacement.

if this is the case, then i guess the conversations was worthless & plain.
but neither of us has nothing lost or gain.
last thing i need is for you to say "i love you" in vain.
