Spirit Of You

by Sylvia   Jun 16, 2010

Embraced by the spirit of you,
its majestic wings spread wide,
soaring upward to clear skies of blue,
a lone eagle filled with pride.

Embraced by the spirit of you,
standing tall, proud in a field of green,
swaying in the wind as if to bid adieu,
a solitary dandelion paints the scene.

Embraced by the spirit of you,
in the night sky brighter than the rest,
its brilliance shines through,
a star beaming in the west.

Embraced by the spirit of you,
on the plains, a herd of wild horses,
one parting from the throng, mane askew,
a lone mustang escapes the forces.

Embraced by the spirit of you,
veins of red compose
petals covered with droplets of dew,
a single white rose.

Embraced by the spirit of you,
a physical body, its time on earth brief.
Your character and heart remain true,
bringing joy, comfort in times of grief.

Wow... you are an amazing poet.
I cant help but wonder... who is this
Person or spirit you refer to... I want to
Say God, for his spirit is in all things. And
All things are in him as well. 5/5
