Lego's and building blocks were the best
Everyone had a yo-yo
Playing on the merry-go-round was what we all did at recess
Boys and cooties
Beer and cigarettes were disgusting
Running through the sprinklers even when it was cold outside
We were all close to our parents
We got up early on Saturday's to watch cartoons
Hardly no one had a cell phone
Have you seen how much society has changed since back then?
Sex, drugs, hate.. That's what people are all about these days. It's pitiful.
I remember being "Daddy's Little Girl"
I told him that when I grow up and become a teenager, him and me will still be as close as ever. Well, We're not.
